Save money, time, and effort with the Transport for Wales app. Unlike other rail apps, the Transport for Wales app allows you to book and pay for your journeys without any additional booking fees. There are no hidden costs on top of your ticket price.

You can take advantage of our money-saving tickets such as Multiflex and make savings on your long-distance journeys with our Advance tickets.

We also offer a Pay in 3 option for purchases made through PayPal when you spend £30 or more. Digital e-tickets can be stored in your smartphone's payment wallet for easy access.

Get live updates and additional service alerts on your phone to help you keep track of your journeys. The app allows you to find the TfW trains with the most available space, so you can plan your journeys comfortably. You can also easily find guidance on our Delay Repay scheme if your train is delayed or cancelled.

If you have used our app or website to purchase an Advance ticket for travel on a TfW service (either for the entire journey or part of it), you are automatically covered by our Automatic Delay Repay scheme. You do not need to submit a claim. Our system will identify if your journey is delayed by 15 minutes or more and create a claim on your behalf within 24 hours of completing the journey.
